We are at work restoring the two-manual organ in St David's Church, Holmbridge, West Yorkshire, deep in Summer Wine country.
The 21-stop instrument was built by Conacher in 1887 and rebuilt by Binns, Fitton and Hayley in 1932, when tubular pneumatic action was fitted.
After 90 years, the organ in this flourishing church had grown unreliable and an appeal was launched.
Our work includes fitting a new electric action, comprehensive releathering and a full cleaning to ensure this fine instrument speaks again to its best advantage.
